Salary Range $90,000 to $110,000
The Columbia 9-1-1 Communications District in St. Helens, Oregon is currently recruiting qualified applicants for the Executive Director’s position. This is an executive level position that is charged with planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the operations of the countywide 9-1-1 public safety answering point and dispatch communications system for all law enforcement, fire, EMS and related providers.
The Columbia 9-1-1 Communications District is based in St. Helens, Oregon. Located 40 miles northwest of Portland, Oregon and about 70 miles from the North Oregon Coast, the District services an area of 678 square miles and a population of approximately 51,000. In 2016, the center processed over 81,000 calls for assistance from the 17 public service agencies served by the District. The public service agencies pay no user-fees to the District.
The Executive Director is responsible to the five-member elected Board of Directors of the District and manages an annual budget of approximately $7,000,000 and 25 full employees.
